Stoneybrook Heights is a neighbourhood in north London. The majority of houses in the area are single family detached homes built in the 1980s and 1990s. The northern portion of the neighbourhood was developed later. There are also a number of townhouse complexes in the neighbourhood. Located just northeast of the Masonville commercial area, many residents are within walking distance of the shops and restaurants there.
Stoneybrook Heights has a number of neighbourhood parks: Virginia, Heron Haven, Northbrook, and Northcrest. Virginia Park is in the centre of the neighbourhood and is the largest with a baseball diamond, soccer field, play structures with swing sets and paved pathways. Heron Haven and Northbrook each have play structures with swing sets, and Heron Haven also has a half basketball court. Heron Haven Park also has a connection to Uplands Trail, which runs north-south through the length of the neighbourhood and has great scenery.
Jack Chambers Public School is in the middle of the neighbourhood attached to Virginia Park. Students also attend St. Kateri and St. Catherine of Siena elementary schools, as well as A.B. Lucas and Mother Teresa secondary schools.
