Uplands is a neighbourhood in north London.  The majority of houses in the area are single detached homes built in the 1990s or 2000s.  There are also a number of townhouse complexes in the neighbourhood.  Uplands is located just northeast of Masonville Mall, and many residents are within walking distance of the shops and restaurants there.

Uplands has a number of neighbourhood parks: Heron Haven, Northbrook, and Virginia.  Virginia is in the south part of the neighbourhood and is the largest. It has a baseball diamond, soccer field, play structures with swing sets, and paved pathways.  Heron Haven and Northbrook each have play structures with swing sets, and Heron Haven also has a half basketball court.  Heron Haven Park also has a connection to Uplands Trail, which runs north-south through the length of the neighbourhood and has great scenery.  

Students in Uplands attend Jack Chambers Public, St. Kateri and St. Catherine of Siena elementary schools.  Secondary Students attend A.B. Lucas and Mother Teresa secondary schools.
