Southcrest is a residential neighbourhood in south London. The area has high-rise apartment buildings, many single detached homes built in the 1960s and 1970s, and some townhouse complexes. The intersection of Base Line and Wharncliffe has a commercial plaza with a grocery store and other shops and restaurants to meet residents’ needs.
Southcrest Park is in the heart of the neighbourhood and has baseball diamonds, a play structure, a wading pool and newly renovated outdoor pool. Southcrest residents also have great access to nature through the paths of the Southcrest Ravine and Euston Park.
There are two schools in Southcrest, both located around Southcrest Park; Westminster Secondary School and école élémentaire catholique Frère-André. Students may also attend Woodland Heights and St. Martin elementary school, and Catholic Central Secondary School.
