Riverforks is a small neighbourhood located just west of Downtown. The natural beauty of the Thames River surrounds this neighbourhood on the north, east and west. There is a unique mix of single detached homes, mostly built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The neighbourhood is located a short distance from shopping areas in downtown and Wortley Village. There are also a few small businesses at the intersection of Stanley and Wharncliffe.
Riverforks is located right on the banks of the Thames River, which gives its residents great access to the Thames Valley Parkway (TVP). Riverforks Park is in the neighbourhood along the TVP, and has a play structure, swing set, and community garden, all with great views of the river. Evergreen Park is located on the west side of the neighbourhood and has some nice walking trails and access to the TVP. Another main attraction in Riverforks is the London Children’s Museum, which attracts children and families from across Southwestern Ontario.
Students who live in the neighbourhood may attend Victoria and St. Thomas More elementary schools, and London South and St. André Bessette secondary schools.
