Kilally Valley is a neighbourhood located in the city’s northeast corner. The neighbourhood follows the curve of the Thames River and is bounded to the west, south, and north by the Kilally Meadows Environmentally Significant Area. The majority of homes in the neighbourhood were built in the early 21st century and consist mainly of single detached homes, along with some townhouses. There is a small commercial area at the intersection of Highbury and Kilally and further south at the intersection of Highbury and Huron St. is the nearest major commercial and transit hub.
Kilally Valley has easy access to the beautiful trails of the Thames Valley Parkway through the Kilally Meadows ESA. At the entrance to the ESA off of Blackmaple Court is Meander Creek Park, which has a play structure and swing set. Students in the neighbourhood attend St. Anne, Northridge, and Chippewa public schools, and A.B. Lucas, Montcalm, and Mother Teresa secondary schools.
Kilally Valley is within the boundaries of Northeast London Community Engagement (NELCE). NELCE is a resident-based, action-oriented volunteer group celebrating and strengthening the community of Northeast London. Check out their website, their Facebook page or send them an email.
